PLPOA members deserve the ability to easily discuss and communicate between themselves. This forum could become a place where wonderful ideas to improve the neighborhoods are incubated and developed. It can also serve to discuss concerns, and get alternative points of view that are not otherwise offered to the membership. We won't agree on everything, but let's keep it constructive.

- A section for upcoming events, votes, meetings, deadlines etc.
- A section for ongoing PLPOA activities and services
- A collection of documents related to the operations of the HOA
- The Bright Side, where you can share fun or uplifting stories, photos or special moments that make you appreciate our beautiful community.

"Tags" assign each post to an appropriate category.
- When viewing discussions, you can click the "tags" button on the left to see all posts sorted by category.
- If on a mobile device, you will instead see a button for "All Discussions" at the top of the page . Click that button to see the different categories/tags. The admin can create new tags/categories if needed.
Posting: You need to Sign Up on this forum before you can post. As the forum develops, take a moment to search for existing discussions that you can contribute to, rather than opening a new one on the same topic. When starting a new discussion, you must pick a "tag" so that it will be assigned appropriately.
- Start a new post by clicking the "Start a Discussion" button. On a mobile device the button is at the bottom of the screen and you can also click the pencil icon at the top-right of the screen
- When a post inspires your input on a different train of thought, feel free to create a new post, rather than going off-topic in reply to an existing post.
- Each discussion topic has a share button which you can use to easily spread the word about the discussion.
- You can upload smaller images and docs (about 2MB) inside your messages, but for large files, videos etc. you will need to paste a link to that media (such as in your Google Drive, on YouTube, etc).
- New discussions in the Documents and Services sections will require approval before they are published. That's because these two categories are meant to be relatively short lists that are easy to navigate. You can however reply to any existing item in those sections.
You can send a Private Message to a member by clicking the chat bubble/icon at the top of the page near the search box and then selecting the member you want to contact.
- On mobile devices the layout is different; the Conversations option is found by tapping the "hamburger" menu icon at the top left.
You can follow or ignore individual members by clicking their name and then selecting the appropriate option. The "ignore" option can be found under the 3-dots or "Controls" button at the top right of the page. Ignoring doesn't completely hide them, but collapses their posts and stops notifications from them.
In your profile you have the option to add a couple lines about yourself, and under settings you can specify things like how/if you receive notifications, if people can see when you are online, etc.
Above all, please keep it civil. This forum is meant for discussions with your neighbors and fellow PLPOA members. You don't have to agree with them, but to participate on this website, you must avoid being abusive.
